Coldfront
FrostByghte

Also referred to as 'Daddy cold', he is the brains behind what has become Coldfront. If Coldfront were a human body, Frostbyghte would be the spine of the network, since without him it would collapse.

Around 1990 Frost got his first tastes of volunteer work with a local BBS. Becoming an Asst-Sysop of Mr. Chips BBS. Then going a bit more global, he joined Compuserve Gamers and was put in charge of the super awesome Section 8 - Cartridge Games. At this point the volunteer bug had bitten, and FrostByghte would continue volunteering his time to online fansites for the next 10+ years.

In 1997 Den Dragon was running the UOSS on the Vault Network. FrostByghte approached Den to leave the Vault Network and host the UOSS. So in January of 1998 Stratics was born. Frost would go on to create the Stratics IRC network around March 1998. From this point he administrated the servers, volunteered, and would eventually come to work full time at Stratics until 2001.

At this point it was time do move on. On May 10th 2002, the Coldfront IRC Network was formed. And for several years that is all Coldfront was, an IRC network. But more and more talent kept showing up at Coldfront, so in August of 2004 the Coldfront.net was officially launched as a fansite network.

MMO wise, you could find Frost in Merdian 59, Ultima Online, Everquest, Dark Age of Camelot, Planetside, Jumpgate, Eve Online, and City of Heroes.

Frost is also a dad of multiple kids, you can often find him playing City of Heroes with his son 'Little dude' on the Victory server in the Coldfront Supergroup..
